■ What is a mask template?
If the product is changed frequently but the blister geometry remains the same, a product-independent mask template can be created and saved during the teach-in run. If the new product is taught in later, the corresponding mask template can be loaded so that the creation of a format mask is not necessary. This is particularly advantageous for complex blister geometries where the automatic creation of the format mask does not lead to the desired result.
