■SPECTRA Contraceptives (HR)
Contraceptives pose a distinct challenge to vision systems due to their small size and often, diff erent products, ordered by intake week, are placed in one blister. Utlilising SPECTRA High Resolution with its designated algorithms enables secure quality control for these products.
For high accuracy even with large foil widths, scanware uses multiple camera systems with 3CMOS cameras. To cancel colour aberrations caused by camera heat, a water-cooling system is installed with the cameras. To outbalance colour disparities due to camera tolerances, the system operates with separate colour informations for each camera. This enables the user to work on a single, rectified image.

This application enables the inspection of different products and shapes in the same blister. The high-resolution blister inspection system detects the smallest differences in shape and colour and can also inspect all blister geometries. With the use of multi-camera systems, the most demanding inspection tasks are no challenge for scanware. The application is suitable for post-seal inspection.
With resolutions of 12, 5 or 12 megapixels and the use of 3CMOS cameras, outstanding colour separation performance is guaranteed.

Contraceptives with different tablet types
The SPECTRA HR software is equipped with improved algorithms for shape recognition. This means that even different products in the same blister as well as different shapes with the smallest differences in shape can be reliably detected.
Contraceptives with minimal colour differences
The colour separation power of the system enables the detection of minimal colour differences that can hardly be detected by the naked eye. Different colours within one blister can be distinguished securely. No other system can offer this level of security and reliability.
Dialpacks and other special blisters
The software is format-independent, so that a wide variety of blister geometries can be inspected. Different product-foil combinations are also possible.
Optimal illumination for post-seal inspection
Utilising diffuse light, reflections on the foil are minimised in order to facilitate the inspection of sealed products with outstanding results.
