Foreign Colour

■ What is understood by foreign colour?

All colour values of the colour space that were neither assigned to the background colour nor to an undefined colour nor to an object colour in the learning run are automatically identified as foreign colours. If necessary, a specific foreign colour can also be taught manually. A foreign colour found in the evaluation is used to identify a foreign product, from which a serious error can be deduced. There are also cases where a so-called friendly foreign colour can be defined – for example, if you want to prevent the colour at the transition to the new film from being recognised as a foreign colour after a film change and thus triggering an error.
