■ What is meant by the term partial teach-in?
The partial teach-in is a shortened form of the learning run – for example: <learn colours and sizes> or <learn sizes>. It is the repetition of parts of the learning run for an existing format, which is thereby modified or supplemented. This has the advantage that the creation of the format mask and the information about the product do not have to be done again. In the case of the partial learning run <re-learn sizes>, the colour marking steps are also omitted.
