For the second year since joining the PPMA, German vision system specialist scanware electronic is exhibiting at the PPMA Show in Birmingham. This year’s main exhibit will feature the solutions along an entire line that the company offers – starting with pinhole detection, through to colour blister inspection, and print as well as code inspection.
With a uniform graphic user interface and a focus on ease of use for the team on the factory floor, the scanware systems are an asset for pharmaceutical packaging lines. “As an owner-run enterprise with a focus on in-house development, scanware offers extraordinary quality and an impressive range of features to increase productivity, and guard product security”, says UK Sales Manager Nick Cox. With an engineer in tow to answer even the most in-depth questions, this year’s show promises a multitude of insights into the art of inspection.
Across a vast variety of inspection objects, experience in the field has allowed the developers to hone their software to each challenge – from clear liquid in glass syringes, grey product in aluminium foil, tubes and the print distortions they cause, through to folding boxes in cases for track and trace requirements.
The current focus of the development team is the creation of a whole new user interface and a new generation of systems – experience the user comfort on booth A46.
