It consists of additional hardware and software components. The shift register performs the error carry-over. It monitors and controls the output signals supplied by the system up to the ejection station. Furthermore, it is able to process error signals from external sensors. Whether and which sensors are installed for which error cases depends on the overall constellation of the blister line.
