At LYNX-CAPA CI prints of folding boxes, bundles and shipper cases are inspected. The data is cross-checked with database entries.
The processing and aggregation of serialised data is handled by scanware's line nmanager LYNX-IMPERA.
Depending on the size of the inspected object, cameras with a resolution of up to 29 megapixels and integrated SMD-W-LED illumination are implemented. When inspecting more than one layer of folding boxes the height of the camera is adjusted by a servomotor.
LYNX-CAPA CI is equipped with a toplight unit which is located in the camera housing. It can be adjusted in 16 levels. The illumination setting is saved as a part of the format and therefore reproducible.
The height of the table on which the cases are placed is fixed.
To capture all print images the shipper case has to be placed centric under the camera. The contact edge supports the user with the orientation.

LYNX-CAPA CI is designed for the manual packaging process.
At the station LYNX-SIGNUM HR inspects a large number of prints and crosschecks the data with database entries. The data can be serialized and aggregated by scanware’s line manager LYNX-IMPERA.
The station is available as installation in cartoners and checkweighers.
The drive is realised with brushless and, consequently, wear-free motors. The utilisation of planetary gear enables optimal power transmission. The complete housing consists of stainless steel. All components are standardized parts which guarantees an efficient supply of spare parts.
Visualisation of all components occurs in standard scanware GUI.
The combination of compact, robust construction and the established print inspection system LYNX-SIGNUM HR makes the Track & Trace family LYNX-CAPA a reliable and easy to handle solution.
In order to make data aggregation adjustable, scanware has introduced the line manager LYNX-IMPERA which manages all events and data relevant to the aggregation process. All other modules work independently from each other. Communication with LYNX-IMPERA always occurs directly.
LYNX-IMPERA receives data from the camera or a hand scanner and checks their validity.
The line nmanager LYNX-IMPERA sends print command to the printer and receives a signal when printing is finished.
Labels are placed and read by a scanner. Read data is transmitted to LYNX-IMPERA. If all data is correct, aggregation of object and label data occurs and data is sent to the main data base.
These steps are independent of the number of modules. The advantage of this closed system is the high flexibility of the aggregation process. The process for scanware's line manager LYNX-IMPERA remains the same, no matter if a step for bundles or pallets is introduced.
