In spite of the worldwide economic crisis the last year was very successful for scanware. Among other things it is due to the innovative strength of our product development that in 2009 we could achieve the best turnover in the 20-year-old company's history.

Products

The 3D inspection technology LYNX-SPECTRA 3D has taken an important role. Since its successful presentation in 2008 the demand for three-dimensional scanning of products and packaging material has shot up. More and more manufacturers recognise and make use of the clear benefits of this key technology.

There have been a lot of improvements in the field of print on and print inspection on secondary pharmaceutical packaging as well. We presented at the last year's ACHEMA our brand new Track & Trace ready printing and inspection unit, where the inspection system LYNX-SIGNUM HR assumes the key role.

Events

Without question, one of the most important events of the year 2009 has been the ACHEMA, which was very successful for scanware.

Due to our constant growth and success we had to grow our team of qualified software and hardware engineers as well as our premises. In 2009 we have opened a brand new building consisting of several offices, a show room, a conference room and a training classroom.

Furthermore, scanware celebrated an anniversary of a very special kind in 2009: it is with great pride that we looked back on 20 years on the market. You were welcome to celebrate with us in a very friendly atmosphere the jubilee and the opening of our company extension during our summer fest.
