In 1993, scanware presented the first colour system on the market. In 1999 we were the first manufacturer to develop market-ready illumination technology with white LEDs. This year we can again serve up an innovational highlight: the first system for three-dimensional image acquisition and inspection. Now, the third dimension comes to pharmaceutical quality control! With LYNX-SPECTRA 3D, scanware provides the first system on the market to allow you to inspect an object in three dimensions. This creates whole new possibilities for quality control in packaging logistics. The process offers particular advantages for low-contrast inspection tasks such as recognising deformation and fragments: here, analysing elevation information offers clear advantages compared with colour detection tests. With its tried-and-tested 3D system, scanware offers a future option for checking Braille. At interpack we presented our compact version to be attached to cartoners. |
